A very decorative white wrought iron table. Made in an elaborate and elegant scrolled design, with tapered curved legs, joined in the centre by a small circular shelf to hold a washing jug. On the top two sides have rails for hanging towels.
History ~
Circa 1900, France.
Condition ~
Good antique condition. The table is strong and sturdy, and the original feet have not deteriorated. The table has been overpainted in white and there are various areas where the paint has peeled, revealing a green previous coat. The later white paint has been there for many years.
