A wonderful pie dish decorated with various rabbits and pheasants, in a traditional old fashioned dairy cream colour. The plate and sides of the dish are decorated in a basket weave design and the lid of the dish has edges designed to resemble a pie crust finish.
History ~
19th century, Wedgwood, England.
Condition ~
The base has a significant historic repair and has been secured using old fashioned staples. One part of the side of the dish has been repainted, at some time in the past. As shown in the images.
