Victorian English antique cast iron Boot Scraper

A decorative cast iron foot or boot scraper. Designed with two ornate raised supports which rest on an octagonal dish shaped base, which is finished with a wide lip in a foliate design. The base has two small drainage holes. Underneath there are 4 pad feet raising the dish slightly off the ground. Faint remnants of the original black paint remain, the whole piece having acquired a good mottled natural patina, making this a useful and appealing decorative garden antique.
