An unusually large antique cushion made from a square section of antique fabric, which has a raised pile and a texture somewhere between chenille and wool. Designed in wonderful soft warm colours following a Victorian slightly Gothic Revival design. The cushion is backed in antique cotton velvet, in a complimentary soft green colour.
History ~
Fabric is Victorian, England (newly made into a cushion).
Condition ~
Good antique condition, no signs of wear to the fabric. Central concealed zip closure to the reverse.
Measurements ~
Cushion when laid flat is 54 cm square / 19" (at the widest point).
Duck feather pad filling is 66 cm / 26" square
