A good collection of enamelware kitchenalia in white with black lettering. Each of these decorative canisters is labelled as either - Flour, Rice, Oatmeal, Currants or Raisins. They are evocative of the 1930s, and their colours are as popular today as they ever have been, such a group is not normally available to purchase as a set.
History - All these decorative items would have been in regular use during the inter war years. They are made from heavy gauge tinplate or steel.
Condition ~
Good condition, lots of signs of use and wear, including scratches to the surfaces and some rust to the lids. Strong and robust, suitable to continue using practically. This is not a matching set, but rather a collection that has been put together of pieces of a similar colour and age.
