Rare antique rustic pottery chocolate brown and green glazed Ginger Jar or Pot
This good sized rustic antique ginger jar is designed with six hexagonal panels, each of which has a raised design featuring various Chinese flowers and some Chinese lettering. The neck and the base are unglazed showing the bare earthenware, which has mellowed to a good colour. This ginger jar is very unusual - in so far as the rest of the surface has been drip glazed in a wonderful finish of rich brown, with undertones of green.
History ~

Condition ~
Good antique condition, no cracks. This is a rustic, individual antique which has imperfections and is not uniform.
