Pair of mid century decorative antique Deer and Fawn Statutes, on wenge plinths
A decorative pair of beautifully designed statutes, one of a mother deer and the other of her baby fawn, made from brass, which has acquired a good patina over time. Each is mounted on an unwaxed West African wenge wood plinth. Their shapes and silhouettes are delicate and elegant, with texture and detailing to their coats and both have endearing and characterful faces.
