A charming pair of antique oil paintings on board, one showing some naughty puppies in a green house with broken plant pots and the other three mischievous kittens, frustrated by a pretty little robin sitting outside the window they are watching from. Wonderful warm scenes painted in a classic style from that time.
History ~
The dog painting is signed and dated 1922, the kittens are signed and dated 1923. Verso there is an inscription on each painting which when translated reads 'painted by a cousin of your mother and grandmother Suzanne Barre'.
Condition ~
Good antique condition.
