A wonderful pair of recumbent pottery lions, decorative antiques with hand painted characterful faces, the remnants of gilt highlights to their coats and their original glass eyes.
History ~
Circa 1900, Scotland. Manufactured by the Bridgeness factory based in Barrowstouness, Scotland, which was known as Bo'ness.
Condition ~
In good antique condition, one chip to the base of one lion, as shown in the images.
Only visible when the lion is upturned.
