A pair of antique ceramic Gaudy dessert plates. These plates have been hand painted in vibrant colours such as cobalt blues and warm reds, in a bold and free form design. The pottery glaze has a soft lustre ware finish, the plates are in a design known as the Oyster Pattern.

Early 1800s, Wales.
Condition ~
Good antique condition, the backs are adapted for the two plates to be wall mounted, should it be necessary.
