Pair of 19th century antique wooden Religious Figures
Pair of religious figures carved from wood. One holds a chalice and the other has his arms folded. They are wearing long robes and there are remnants of gilt throughout. Characterful faces and patina, wonderful decorative pieces.
History ~ Circa 1850s, purchased in France.
Condition ~ There are lots of signs of wear, one man has a shallow split down the back, but it is solid and stable. Various chips to the wood and plenty of paint loss.
