Pair of oak carved dogs, set into a wooden base and top. Wonderful evocative faces, well carved, good proportions and unusual.
History ~ 19th century, France. May well have once been part of a larger piece of furniture.
Condition ~ Various breaks to the wooden surrounds, all of which have been repaired, although slight gaps in the wood are still visible. No damage to the dogs themselves.
