Murano mid century vintage End of Day splatter glass Vase

A wonderful murano mid-century vintage End of Day splatter glass vase. This glass was hand blown and includes an array of colours, deep blue, green and red, splattered over the white background, which is underneath a top layer of clear glass. To the sides there is a decorative clear glass ribbed pattern.
History ~
Circa 1950, Italy. Originally 'End of the day' glass was made by glassworkers in their own time at the end of the day using up the remaining molten glass in the pots. The term is now used to describe glass which has specks of colour that has been melted in with the original glass
Condition ~
Good antique condition, consistent with light usage.
