Mid century antique mother of pearl Asymmetrical Vase
Unusual asymmetrical vase. The outside is covered in abalone shells which have been used to create a mosaic. The inside of the vase is made from plastic or resin.
The shells are all shades of soft pastel and have been combined together to create a translucent shimmering texture.
History ~
Circa 1970, France.
Condition ~
The wear is commensurate with normal usage. Inside the vase there is a water mark and there is light scuffing to the base.
