A rare piece of early carved stone, this substantial English antique fragment may have originally been part of a Church. Beautifully carved its sharp edges now softened and gently patinated by many centuries of time, making this a unique piece of architectural salvage and a wonderful decorative antique sculpture.
History ~
1400s - 1600s, UK.
Condition ~
Good antique condition. The stone stands upright, the base is just about steady, but it may be preferable to have the base professionally levelled or to have the stone mounted. There are three original holes at end of the diamond shape points. to mount, lovely unique piece of sculpture.
