Large antique rustic pottery turquoise-green glazed Ginger Jar or Pot
This rustic antique ginger jar is designed with six hexagonal panels, each of which has a raised design featuring various Chinese flowers. The neck of the jar has a border with a symmetrical embossed motif - the actual centre of the neck and the base are unglazed showing the bare earthenware. The rest of the surface has been drip glazed in a wonderful vivid but soft coloured turquoise-green finish, with one panel having a flecking of brown, as shown.

Good antique condition, no cracks. This is a rustic, individual antique which has imperfections and is not uniform.
