French 19th century Indienne antique textile Quilt
Wonderful antique quilt with a strong red Indienne design, offset on a cream background, backed with traditional French red fabric, a really lovely decorative textile quilt.
History ~
19th century, France.
Condition ~
Fair antique condition, some very light areas of discolouration, which do not show up when photographed. Strong edging and just dry cleaned. The red reverse of the quilt has a fade line down the middle, where it has been folded and exposed to the sun in the past, shown in the final image.
