French 19th century double sided antique textile quilt
Wonderful double sided antique quilt with bold Indienne design, in strong green and pale red fabric, backed by an equally bold red floral fabric, a distinctive and very decorative textile quilt.
History ~
19th century, France.
Condition ~
Good antique condition, there are no holes and very few marks that would be at all noticeable. The quilt has been re-edged with hand stitching so there are no areas where the fabric is thin. It has just been dry cleaned.
