Fragment from an embroidered panel showing various flowers embroidered in a soft beige, rust, teal and turquoise colour palette. Using silk stitching the work has been completed in intricate detail and has been inserted into a blue silk panel within its frame.
History ~
Mid 1800s, China. It was framed in Brussels, circa 1950.
Condition ~
The embroidery is in good condition, the colours are vibrant and strong. There is light wear to the frame.
