A very large decorative antique copper planter, which has acquired a wonderful patina over many years of weathering. With a vertical band of raised rivets around the circumference base. Originally there may have been a plug or tap, now to the side is a drainage hole. The sides also have reinforced panels of riveted copper, as shown in the images. This is a spectacular and substantial copper planter, and an appealing decorative garden antique.
History ~ 19th century, England.
Condition ~ Good antique condition.
