A wonderful decorative garden antique bell shaped terracotta Rhubarb Forcer, with nicely aged and soften terracotta, which has been partly covered by a deep and rich patina of moss and lichen, creating a mottled surface.
History ~
Early 1900s, England.
Used to cover rhubarb and avoid photosynthesis, which encourages the plant to grow, wonderful weathering, often used as an antique garden planter.
Condition ~
Good antique condition, no chips or cracks. The original lid is missing.
