English 17th century oak Gate Leg Table
Wonderful English early oak gateleg table, oval shaped top with a single drawer. Balustrade designed legs, on original feet. Good mellow colour to the oak.
History ~
Circa 1680, Charles II, England
Condition ~
Slight movement in one of the panels. Some of the feet have been nibbled, although the table is perfectly solid and does not wobble. The drawer liner has been replaced, at some time in the past, the handle on the drawer is original. Signs of wear consistent with furniture of this age.
