Decorative mid century antique Brazilian Butterfly Tray
A beautiful butterfly wing tray, featuring the Blue Morpho butterfly in the centre. Designed using intricate wing patterns in iridescent colours, which are perfectly complimented by the mahogany and fruitwood inlaid surround used to make to exterior of the tray.
History ~ Brazil, circa 1940. The maker's label is still present on the back of the tray.
