Decorative antique French Normandy Marriage Box

A wonderful decorative antique marriage or wedding box with naively painted flowers, edged in yellow which have been painted on to a rich green background. The back of the box has faint traces of a handwritten name, most probably that of the original owner of the box.
History ~ 19th century, Normandy, France.
Condition ~ There is a split to the domed top of the box, however it is robust and there is no fragility or movement to the frame.
