Collection of French rustic antique olive wood Boules

Collection of five rustic antique boules, made from olive wood. Over time this dense wood has mellowed and acquired an uneven surface and wonderfully rich texture, creating some wonderful decorative antiques.
History ~ 19th century, Southern France.
Condition ~ Good antique condition. On one boule the olive wood has several recesses in it, although sometimes these were created intentionally in order to hold the boule.
