Collection of antique John Ridgway & Co Dishes and Plates

Collection of three raised dessert dishes, two oval and one rectangular, and six dessert plates. Produced in a flow blue design, with a border of multicoloured flowers and leaves, in the centre is a tiny intricately drawn butterfly on a floral sprig. The dessert bowls, which could easily be used as dishes, have ornate raised handles, decorated in brown.
History ~
Produced by John Ridgway & Co, at their Cauldron Place works, Shelton, in Stoke on Trent. The pattern is identified by its number 8176, and was therefore produced between 1810 and 1850, most probably in 1830s.
Condition ~
Good antique condition, no chips or cracks, some slight loss of colour to the edges but overall good bright colour, and some minor scratches.
