Antique rustic pottery dark green glazed Ginger Jar or Pot
This rustic antique ginger jar is designed with six hexagonal panels, each of which has a raised design featuring various Chinese flowers. The top of the hexagonal panels have a matching symmetrical motif - the actual centre of the neck and the base are unglazed showing the bare earthenware. The rest of the surface has the whole has been drip glazed in a wonderful bold dark emerald green finish.
History ~
Circa 1900, China.
Condition ~
Good antique condition, no cracks. This is a rustic, individual antique which has imperfections and is not uniform.
