Antique os de mouton French walnut Armchair recovered in pale blue linen
A French antique os de mouton walnut armchair which has been recovered in pale blue upholstery linen. Wonderful shape to this chair with a gently sloping back and the walnut arms and legs have acquired a lovely rich colour over time.
History ~
Circa 1900, France. These chairs were named 'os de mouton' or 'mutton bone' due to the shape of the stretcher across the front of them.
Condition ~
Good antique condition, strong and solid.
