Attractive and decorative papier-mâché letter holder. Decorated in a chinoiserie style with a Japanese scene and detailed figures on the front and both sides, finished in black lacquer. The letter rack has three removable dividers to assist in organising stationery.
History ~ 19th century, England.
Condition ~ There are some minor chips to the papier-mâché finish, as shown in the images.
