Antique French copper Weather Vane mounted on a metal tripod base
A wonderful French weathervane, full of character and charm, lovely verdigirs and patina to the body with a repousse design to the copper and good detailing to the features.
History ~ Early 1900s, France.
Condition ~ Many signs of weathering and wear, but structurally strong and no corrosion. The weathervane has been later mounted on an old metal tripod base, which is a good match but not original. It can easily be detached from the base.
