A very large white fine linen bedspread, which could also be used as a window drape or panel. It is beautifully decorated with raised stitch antique embroidery, in a floral design, the central embroidery is edged by an intricate and deep border of pulled thread work, outside of which is another panel of embroidery.
History ~ Early 1900s, England.
Condition ~ One small area of damage to the pulled thread work, as shown in the images, freshly laundered.
