Wonderful rustic copper bucket with a fold down handle. Made using a substantial and very heavy piece of copper in a simple country design. The copper has acquired a lovely verdigris colour and patina over time, giving it good decorative appeal.
History ~
Early 19th century, England. May have been a well bucket.
Condition ~
Fair antique condition, there are several dents and the inside of the bucket has been reinforced with an additional piece of copper, this was done a long time ago, as shown in the images.
