Antique Chinoiserie black papier mâché Bowl
Black bowl made from paper mache which has been lacquered. It is decorated in chinoisere showing various Oriental figures and landscapes. The decoration is done with polychrome and gilt.
History ~
Circa 1900, England.
Condition ~
Signs of wear and usage, a loss to the lip of the bowl shown in the main image. Some marks and scratches.
