A large decorative antique planter, made from a quality cast iron mould, this planter features an ornate floral motif with scrolled handles and is raised on a delicate scroll-footed base. It was originally coated with a vitreous enamel surface, some of which remains, creating a weathered and authentic patina.
History ~ Late 19th century, France.
Condition ~ Good antique condition. One small drainage hole.
