19th century Pottery Pancheon with wonderful mustard coloured glaze
This dairy bowl is hand thrown with a traditional rough red clay exterior and a wonderful yellow slip glaze interior. It has a wonderful rustic simplicity and the deep red exterior and mustard interior combine to create an eye catching decorative pot.
History ~
Would have been used everyday in a farmhouse kitchen, either for storing milk or dough or for bread proving. Circa 1900, France.
Condition ~
Significant loss to interior glazing, as shown in images, no cracks or chips.
