19th century Georgian decorative antique papier-mâché Tray
A large black papier-mâché tray covered in gilt hand drawn floral patterns - leaves, branches and flowers, interspersed with some tiny colourful butterflies. The colour has acquired a soft patina, from being rubbed and worn over many years of use.
History ~
Early 1800s, England.
Condition ~
The papier-mâché is lightly crazed through out and the gilt is very worn but the tray is strong and solid.
