Charming 19th century English antique Windsor high back Arm Chair. Made using a combination of elm for the saddle seat and ash for the back splats. A traditional design with a central pierced splat to the back and spindle carved turned legs and stretchers. A good country house chair with lovely natural colour and patination.
History ~ 19th century, England.
Condition ~ The chair is strong and sturdy, the wood on the seat is worn, through years of use, but is robust and strong, as shown in the images.
