19th century antique naive Landscape Painting - 'The House in the Hollow'
A charming landscape scene naively painted in wonderful detail, under glass. The scene shows a pretty little cottage set in the middle of an undulating landscape with a woodland behind, with other small houses and some tiny characters just visible.
History ~ 19th century, England. When purchasing I was told that it had always been known as 'The House in the Hollow'.
Condition ~ Good antique condition, signs of wear to the frame. In its original old gilt frame.
