19th century antique decorative Cruche Confit Pot

A cruche pot with a wonderful shape and colour - bright yellow ochre glaze around the central section of the pot and a large curved handle with a small spout. Rustic simplicity and centuries of history make these such special pots.

19th century, south west France, often found in Provence, and traditionally used to serve olive oil, vinegar or water.

Condition ~
Very good antique condition for a confit pot of this type, no cracks or losses.
