19th century antique copper Planter or Log Basket with handle

Wonderful rustic antique copper bucket with a fold down handle. Made in a plain wide country design with simple but beautifully formed rivetted copper loops to support the metal handle . The copper has acquired a lovely verdigris colour and patina over time, giving it good decorative appeal.
History ~
Early 19th century, Belgium. May have originally been a well bucket. The handle can be removed if required.
Condition ~
Good antique condition, no holes or splits. Over many years of use the top has become misshapen, as shown in the images.
