18th century antique rustic pottery French Walnut Oil Jar with green glaze
A wonderful antique rustic pottery jar, with a distinctive form and shape, one of the rarer designs with three looped handles. Over centuries of time the glazing has worn and become patinated, wearing to a good olive-green colour with traces of the original terracotta also visible.
History ~
Early 19th century, France.
