17th century English antique elm Settle
A wonderful piece of rustic antique furniture - this high back Settle is full of country charm. Made from elm, with four 4 panels to the backrest, simple down swept arms and a twin plank seat. Raised on primitive turned front supports, which are joined by the original stretcher. Wonderful colour and wear to the wood, which has taken centuries to acquire.
History ~
Circa 1680, England.
Condition ~
Strong and sturdy, lots of signs of wear and usage, as expected.
